Registration, Sponsorships Open for Chamber Golf Classic

The Greater Fort Myers and SanCap Chamber of Commerce announces sponsorship opportunities and open registration for its annual Golf Classic, taking place Friday, Nov. 13, at The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club, 949 Sand Castle Rd. on Sanibel Island.

“This highly anticipated event invites community members, business leaders, and golf enthusiasts to enjoy a day filled with friendly competition, networking, and good times in the great outdoors,” said John Lai, chamber president and chief executive officer. “The tournament provides an excellent way to connect with fellow professionals while supporting the chamber’s mission of empowering local businesses.”

Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Breakfast will be provided at check-in, and the day will conclude with an awards luncheon and closing ceremony.

Registration is now open at $400 for individual golfers and $1,500 for a foursome team, which includes a tee sign on the course. Each registration includes breakfast and lunch, beverages throughout the day, a swag bag, and a commemorative tee sign.

Participants also have the opportunity to buy into the Helicopter Ball Drop, thanks to a donation from the Lee County Sherriff’s Office. Ball prices start at $10 for one ball and are available on a sliding scale up to $4 per ball for 100 balls. A ball that lands in the hole or closest to the hole takes the grand prize.

Winners can choose to donate 50 percent of their winnings to the Greater Fort Myers Chamber Foundation. Proceeds from raffles and other prizes also will benefit the foundation.

Sponsorship Opportunities
A wide variety of sponsorship packages are still available, all of which include a foursome in the tournament and branding exposure throughout the event. Currently available sponsorships include:

· Putting Green Sponsor – $2,500 (1 available)
· Photography Sponsor – $2,000 (1 available)
· Breakfast Sponsor – $2,000 (2 available)
· 19th Hole Sponsor – $2,000 (1 available)
· The “Turn” Sponsor – $2,500 (1 available)
· Beverage Cart Sponsor – $2,500 (1 available)
· Closest to the Pin Sponsor – $1,750 (1 available)
· Tee Sign Sponsor – $200 each

Each sponsor will receive recognition before, during, and after the event, and enjoy premium visibility among participants and the Southwest Florida business community.
