Save the date! A public event is being planned by the Sanibel community to honor retiring City Manager Judie Zimomra and thank her for her long years of service.
The event, entitled “Thank You, Judie!”, will be an “open house” held at the Sanibel Community House from 3 to 6 pm on Saturday, Dec. 4. and all are welcome.
The event will give the public an opportunity to express their appreciation to Ms. Zimomra for her hard work on behalf of Sanibel. Zimomra will retire from the City of Sanibel on Sept. 29, 2021, with 20 years of dedicated service to our community.
Light refreshments will be served, and a formal program will be presented. The event is being organized by a committee representing Island businesses, service groups, non-profit organizations and private citizens.
