This past week SanCap Rotary had the pleasure of hearing from Elizabeth Goldbach, a Small Business Consultant at FGCU’s Lugert College of Business. She is in the business of making your business successful. Elizabeth does this with a team of business professionals who are dedicated to helping small businesses succeed by providing creative solutions.
They are a federally funded partnership of business professionals with nine other regions providing no-cost, confidential technical assistance to local businesses. They have created relationships with the local banking community to make funding more readily available. They assist with marketing, capital access, international trade, business valuations, government contracts and start ups. In order to help the most entrepreneurs possible, they hold between 30 and 50 workshops each year. They have over 1,400 clients, of which 50 percent are minorities and 52 percent are women. They are truly committed to helping local entrepreneurs and businesses grow and succeed.
Elizabeth Goldbach is a seasoned business advisor at the Small Business Development Center, bringing over 24 years of experience from the pharmaceutical sales industry. Educated at Regis College in Massachusetts and the University of the Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she has been residing in Fort Myers since 2019. As a bilingual consultant, Elizabeth supports entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey, specializing in start-up assistance, business planning, and capital access. Growing up in a family business, she understands the challenges entrepreneurs face, especially around securing financing—an insight gained from watching her father navigate his civil engineering firm’s funding needs.
