Rotary International works to deliver wheelchairs, help build clean water systems, provide emergency shelter, eliminate world polio and provide micro-finance loans to improve the health and financial stability of those in other countries. The work of local organizations is not forgotten as FISH of SanCap, Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum, Boy Scouts, college scholarships, and many more are also aided by Sanibel-Captiva Rotary funds.
Returning after the Covid-19 hiatus, this year’s festival, featuring juried artisans from around the country, will be held on FEb. 19-20 at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way. One-of-a-kind art items in all media and styles. Inside the Community House is a silent auction. The silent auction fundraiser includes premier vacation stays, fine/casual dining experiences, personal services, gift baskets, jewelry, and more will be available for purchase outside.
