The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club continues to live out Rotary International’s guiding principle of “Service Above Self,” with members actively volunteering and giving back across the islands.
From supporting community events like CROW’s Taste of the Islands to celebrating milestones such as the ribbon-cutting of the Harkey Sea Turtle Complex, Rotary members remain deeply engaged in strengthening the Sanibel and Captiva community. Whether assisting with event logistics, welcoming guests, or lending a helping hand where it is needed most, the club’s commitment to service is evident throughout the season.
Rotary is more than volunteering. It is about connection, collaboration, and making a meaningful difference alongside neighbors and local organizations.
Community members are invited to experience Rotary firsthand by attending a weekly meeting.
The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club meets every Friday at The Community House, with breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. and the meeting starting at 8:00 a.m. Breakfast is catered by Wickie’s, offering a welcoming opportunity to connect before the program begins.
Each week features engaging speakers from Sanibel, Captiva, and the greater Southwest Florida region, offering insights on local initiatives, community needs, and broader topics of interest. Meetings are informative, welcoming, and always enjoyable.
Those interested in getting involved, building connections, and giving back are encouraged to attend a meeting and learn more about how Rotary is making an impact right here on the islands.
