SanCap Art League Presents ‘Cast Ashore’ Exhibition

The Sanibel-Captiva Art League (SCAL) is pleased to announce its upcoming art exhibition, “Cast Ashore,” hosted at the Sanibel Community House, located at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, FL 33957.

This much-anticipated event, sponsored by both the Sanibel Community Association and the Sanibel-Captiva Art League, promises an exhibit of creativity, inspiration, and community engagement.

“Cast Ashore” is the featured theme for this season’s art showcase, inviting artists and visitors alike to explore the limitless interpretations of the concept.

The exhibit will display freshly rendered works from talented members of the Sanibel-Captiva Art League, Sanibel Community Association, and affiliates of the Art Council of Southwest Florida.

All artworks will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting The Community House’s ongoing programs and initiatives.

• Exhibit Dates: January 7, 2026 – February 11, 2026 (Monday-Friday 9 a.m.to 3 p.m.)
• Opening Reception: Wednesday, January 7, 2026, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Join us for refreshments and live music on the patio, courtesy of the Sanibel Community House.

The exhibition will be juried and judged by Tim Smith, Founder of the Sanibel Pottery Studio School. Smith’s expertise and discerning eye will provide a fresh perspective and excitement to this year’s selections.

Admission and parking are free, making this an accessible opportunity for all members of the community to enjoy exceptional art in a welcoming setting.
