SanCap Art League Seeking Art Fair Participants

Sanibel Captiva Art League is seeking additional artist participants for its 2020 Art Fair Sunday, Feb. 23 at the Sanibel Community House. The Art Fair, previously known as the Clothesline Sale, has been a popular annual event for 18 years. Participants must be members of the Art League, which is an organization geared for painters. Membership dues are $30 and information can be found on the League website at sancapart.com.

For the 2020 Art Fair, indoor spaces cost $125 for a 10’x10’ area including two 8’ tables. Outdoor spaces are available for a fee of $60, which provides a 10’x10’ area. Outside tables and tents must be provided by the artist. All space rental fees cover the shared costs for advertising, traffic officers and the cost of renting the Community House inside and out.

The SanCap Art League has been in existence since 1964 and has continued to be a vital, creative collaboration of painters ever since. New members are always welcome. The League hosts speakers and demonstrations, provides classes and learning opportunities, organizes shows and sales events, arranges weekly plein air painting sessions, participates in community activities and offers a wealth of networking opportunities.
