The new Sanibel office of A. Vernon Allen Builder was cause for a recent SanCap Chamber celebration.

Naples-based A. Vernon Allen Builder expanded to a new Sanibel Island office at 1504 Periwinkle Way about a year ago. On March 19, the SanCap Chamber made it official with a festive ribbon-cutting.

Known for its luxury home-building since 1951, the builder celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. Co-owners Ryan Benson and Andy Bringardner have been operating the firm for over a decade.

“Celebrating the firm’s 75 years of luxury homebuilding reflects our long-standing commitment to quality and craftsmanship,” said Bringardner. “We’re proud to continue building exceptional homes in some of the most exclusive neighborhoods.”

A. Vernon Allen Builder has constructed hundreds of custom homes in southwest Florida over the past seven decades. It is currently working on three contracts on Sanibel, with four more to come on both Sanibel and Captiva, the owners said.

“The community reception has been outstanding,” said Benson. “I am a resident of the island and am very proud to have expanded our operations to the islands.”

“We are excited to see such a prestigious, high-end firm join the ranks of on-island builders,” said John Lai, SanCap Chamber president and chief executive officer. “We thank Ryan and Andy for helping to rebuild our islands to such high-quality standards.”
