The SanCap Chamber has announced Bank of the Islands will be the title sponsor of its third annual breakfast presentation on the State of the Islands 2026 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Fort Myers. The presentation will feature updates and insights on recent progress from representatives of the real estate sector, nonprofits, the city of Sanibel, and other key areas of the community.

Doors and registration open for the event at 8 a.m. Breakfast commences at 8:30 and the program at 9.

“State of the Islands brings the business community up-to-date on the many facets of island commerce, based on survey results and other data,” said John Lai, SanCap Chamber president and chief executive officer. “This important presentation takes place in lieu of the January business luncheon. It will inform members about changes in post-hurricane status compared to last year at this time.”

Remaining sponsorship opportunities include Lighthouse Level for $10,000 (one remaining), Causeway Level for $7,500 (two available), Periwinkle Level for $5,000, Blind Pass Level for $2,500, Slido Survey (the event-wide Q&A platform – one available) Level at $2,000, and Tarpon Bay Level for $1,000.
