The Sanibel Captiva Rotary Club announced the induction of its newest member, Becky Boyd. She is the Director of Development and a grant writer for the Community Housing and Resources.

CHR provides affordable, safe, stable housing to the island’s essential workforce – first responders, teachers, hospitality staff, seniors, and nonprofit staff.

Boyd is a Florida native who enjoys helping people. She blends her nonprofit leadership experience with a genuine passion for building connections and strengthening her community.

She is a proud mom of two, a lover of nature and travel, and happiest when she is exploring new places or enjoying the beauty of the world around her.

The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary meets at the Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, and also on Zoom. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., and the meeting begins at 8 a.m. For more information about Rotary, visit sanibelrotary.org. All are welcome.
