The City of Sanibel informs residents and visitors that the Beach Road Beach Access parking lot will be temporarily closed from Monday, October 12, 2026, through Friday, October 23, 2026, to accommodate construction for the City’s Lift Station Rehabilitation Project.
The parking lot will remain closed for the duration of the work to provide adequate space for construction equipment and to maintain a safe work area. The construction schedule may be affected by weather or other unforeseen conditions.
The City of Sanibel appreciates the public’s patience and understanding as we complete these important improvements to strengthen the City’s wastewater infrastructure and enhance its resilience.
