The Sanibel Bike Club enjoyed an off-island ride Feb. 5 on Boca Grande. Members met at McCarthy’s Marina on Captiva and cruised on the Lady Chadwick up to Gasparilla Island. Once on Gasparilla, everyone broke into groups and went off to explore the island on their bikes, then met for lunch at various island restaurants. Many ended up for ice cream at the famous Loose Caboose before getting back on the Lady Chadwick for the cruise home. The weather was perfect, and the group had a lovely day biking together.
