Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has donated $2,500 to underwrite The Sanibel School’s eighth grade promotion ceremony. Eighth-grade students will be recognized for their achievements as they prepare to enter high school.

Part of Lee County Public Schools, The Sanibel School serves approximately 325 students in grades kindergarten through eight. Students live on Captiva and Sanibel islands as well as the mainland of Southwest Florida. On Sanibel, the Periwinkle Branch, located at 1019 Periwinkle Way, sustained considerable storm damage and is projected to reopen in early 2024.
