Sanibel Historical Museum Presents 1970s Fundraiser

The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village presents its Annual Fundraiser: 1970s The Way We Were, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way.

The doors will open at 5 p.m. Enjoy an evening of cocktails and a retro picnic with a live auction. Danny Morgan’s 70’s music and historic Sanibel story skits will be the entertainment. The attire is 70s island style. Tickets are $175 and can be purchased on the website.

The Sanibel Historical Museum & Village, 950 Dunlop Rd., is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday, with the last admission at 3 p.m. Admission is $15.00 for adults aged 19 and over; Youth aged 18 and under are free.

Annual Memberships are available with levels beginning at $40. Member benefits include free admittance to site visits.

The Village Gift Shop in Shore Haven is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is not required to visit the shop.
