The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village will present the second Twilight Talk of the 2025 Season at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way.
Ken Sneeden’s new documentary, “Storm Stories From Sanibel: Hurricane Ian,” will premiere at the Twilight Talk. It is the second installment of Sneeden’s in-depth series about how hurricanes have shaped the island. Village donors underwrite this integral chronicle of our history.
Sneeden is an award-winning former broadcast journalist and television station executive. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, Sneeden worked for 15 years as an anchor, reporter, and producer for TV news organizations in Florida and North Carolina.
In 1991, he founded Ken Sneeden & Associates LLC, where he established a proven expertise in high-end professional presentation services with an emphasis on visual storytelling.
Since 2016, Sneeden has worked with the Sanibel Historical Museum & Village and the Captiva Island Historical Society to produce seven full-length documentaries and other videos related to the islands’ history.
Sneeden and his wife, Sara, have lived in Southwest Florida since 1981 and have two adult children.
Popcorn and a cash bar will be available to audience members. Tickets are on sale now at the Village website here, with limited tickets for purchase by check or cash at the door that evening. Parking is free.
