The City of Sanibel is hosting a community workshop on a broadband feasibility study from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way. Community members will learn about the study, which is evaluating current high-speed internet coverage on the island, community satisfaction with existing services, and future broadband needs.
There will be time for questions and answers with city staff and Tectonic Engineering representatives. The city is also conducting a short broadband feasibility survey, which can be completed here.
