Sanibel Road Closures on May 24 for Doc Ford’s Yucatan Shrimp Day Race

The City of Sanibel announced the road closures on Saturday morning, May 24, for the Doc Ford’s Yucatan Shrimp Day 7K Race:

• 6:30 a.m. to *10:30 a.m. – Tarpon Bay Road from Sanibel Blvd. to Trost Parking lot will be closed, including the Bailey Tract parking lot. The Trost parking lot will remain open throughout the event.

• 6:30 a.m. to *10:30 a.m. –Island Inn Road from Tarpon Bay Road to the gate will be closed.

*Times are approximate and depend on the length of time for runners/walkers to clear the area.
