Bank of the Islands is proud to support the Sanibel School Fund’s Blue Ribbon Golf Classic golf tournament and the Casino for a Cause Gala. Though a longtime supporter of the Sanibel School Fund as well as its golf tournament, this is the first year the Bank has signed on as the Helicopter Golf Ball Drop Sponsor.
In addition to many ongoing school initiatives, net profits from the two-day event will go toward funding The Sanibel School’s new preschool program, including hiring a new teacher, curriculum development, and educational supplies and enhancements for students.
“This is a very exciting time in The Sanibel School’s history,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Please consider attending or donating to the Blue Ribbon Classic to help the School Fund reach its goal and celebrate its 24th year of supporting the Sanibel School.”
The 2026 Blue Ribbon Classic golf tournament and Casino for a Cause Gala take place on Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2, at the Sanctuary Golf Club on Sanibel Island. To learn more, register to attend, or make a donation, visit sanibelschoolfund.org or contact sanibelschoolfund@gmail.com.
