Sanibel Shell Show Coming In March

It’s almost time for the world-renowned and competitive Sanibel Shell Show everyone knows and loves. This year’s show will include a large number of both artistic and scientific exhibits on display.

The 2025 Sanibel Shell Show will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, and Friday, March 7, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, at the Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, 17260 Harbour Pointe Dr., Fort Myers.

The Marriott venue offers additional room for world-class professional and hobbyist exhibits and many outstanding works of art and scientific designs for attendees to see and appreciate. Plenty of free parking is available.

The show will feature approximately 70 vendor tables of merchandise offering shells and shell-related items, a silent auction and a raffle loaded with fantastic prizes, and a free bag of Sanibel shells for each attendee.

Proceeds from the Sanibel Shell Show benefit many different causes and organizations via grants within the Sanibel and Captiva communities and other educational research in Southwest Florida.

The proceeds support grants to favorite Sanibel organizations such as the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium and the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation. Grants also support local university research into mollusks and water quality.
