Sanibel ‘Sip & Shop’ on Oct. 17 Benefits SanCap Pink Project

provided to The Santiva Chronicle

Sanibel retailers will donate 10 percent of their sales from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, during a community Sip & Shop event benefiting the SanCap Pink Project. This local nonprofit raises awareness and assists in the fight against breast cancer. Special pink treats, wellness offerings, and gifts make the day even more special.

Participating businesses include Adventures in Paradise Outfitters, A Little Adventure, Bubbly Latitude, and Wilford & Lee, with additional community partners adding pink-themed perks throughout the day.

The Sanibel Café will serve pink waffles and pancakes, while Sanibel Pilates & Spa will offer thermography scan opportunities. Additionally, Shiny Objects will gift a special pink ribbon tote bag with purchase (while supplies last).

“Our island knows how to show up for one another,” said Joshua Stewart, owner of AIP Outfitters and A Little Adventure. “Events like this help raise both funds and awareness, keeping vital resources close to home.”

The San Cap Pink Project is a 501(c)(3) organization that benefits uninsured or underinsured individuals in need of mammograms and assists with the cancer-related needs of the community.

AIP Outfitters and A Little Adventure are family-owned island boutiques offering a range of apparel, gifts, and accessories for adults and children. Bubbly Latitude, Wilford & Lee, The Sanibel Café, Sanibel Pilates, and Shiny Objects are beloved local businesses renowned for their high-quality products, warm hospitality, and community spirit.
