Sanibel Captiva Business Women’s Association will host its Third Annual Open House from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way.
SCBWA invites women of Sanibel and Captiva community to join them for an evening of networking and socializing. Each year, SCBWA gathers to show member appreciation and welcome new prospective members. The evening will include food, refreshments and an opportunity to win door prizes. In previous years, the annual open house has brought more than 50 women from the community for a fun evening of fellowship. In three years, SCBWA has grown to a group of more than 60 active members.
SCBWA is dedicated to empowering and supporting the women who work and live on the islands through networking, mentorship, continuing education and career advancement.
SCBWA aims to serve the community by offering an inclusive, supportive and diverse group of women supporting women. Its focus is the advancement of women’s career development targeted to workers, aspiring workers and residents of Sanibel and Captiva.
