Samples collected by Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation’s Marine Lab and Sanibel Sea School from Feb. 18-22 at local beaches and the back bay have ranged from medium concentrations (>100,000 Karenia sp. cells/liter) to not present, with most samples at low levels.
