SCCF, SCAL Announce ‘Nature’ Art Exhibit

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) and the Sanibel-Captiva Art League (SCAL) are pleased to announce their collaborative Winter 2026 art exhibit, titled ‘NATURE’.

The exhibition will take place from February 10 to March 6, 2026, at the Historic Bailey Homestead, located at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, FL 33957. Art lovers are invited to attend on Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission and parking are free for all.

About the Exhibit
‘NATURE’ will feature a remarkable collection of new artwork created by members of both the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation and the Sanibel-Captiva Art League. Each piece is inspired by Southwest Florida’s vibrant flowers, lush trees, beautiful waterways, and diverse array of animals. The emphasis is on the unique and remarkable aspects of the state’s natural environment, offering vivid artistic language to convey Florida’s ecological beauty. The exhibit aligns with SCCF’s mission to protect and preserve the area’s natural beauty. All showcased artwork will be available for purchase, offering visitors an opportunity to bring home a piece of this stunning environment while supporting local art and conservation.

The Sanibel-Captiva Art League has fostered appreciation and creation of fine arts in the community since 1964, supporting artists and art education throughout the region.
