The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors® (SCIAR) hosted its 2026 Installation & Awards Gala on Thursday, January 15, celebrating the installation of its officers and directors.
The association also honored outstanding members for their service and achievements, including Glen Simmons, who was recognized as a “Wall of Famer” for 20 years of dedicated service to the association and the real estate community.
The Mardi Gras–themed evening featured a dinner and awards program, bringing together members, affiliates, and family for a night of recognition and celebration.
The 2026 officers are President Tina DiCharia, President-elect Kelly Huguenin, Treasurer Janka Varmuza, Secretary Melanie Holaway, and Past President Becky Mulka. The 2026 directors are Ted Benjamin, Bryan Hall, George Kohlbrenner, and Milissa Sprecher.
The 2025 award recipients are Becky Mulka, Realtor of the Year; Heather Chevalier, Administrative Support Award; Amanda Curran of Superior Title and Dave Arter of Private Client/Gallagher Insurance Company, Affiliate Business Partners of the Year; Milissa Sprecher, Newcomer of the Year; and Eric Pfeifer, Community Service Award recipient.
