SCUCC Hosting Brunch And Learn on Solar Energy

The Sanibel Congregational UCC invites the public to a brunch and learn at 11:15 a.m. March 17 at the church, 1050 Periwinkle Way. The topic will be “Why We Should Start Using Solar Energy As Soon As Possible,” and the speaker will be Bob Moore.

Moore is co-founder with his wife Ariel Hoover of the Lee County chapter of the Climate Reality Project. He also serves as co-chair of the Sanibel-Captiva Renewable Energy Working Group and chair of SanCap Resilience. Moore has long had solar panels on his own house as well as having helped SCCF get them installed recently. Also a panel of members of the church and Bat Yam will tell about their experience with solar.
