Tarpon Bay Explorers will return to a limited operating schedule from May 4 to the end of August 2025. The concession, gift store, and launch area will be closed on Sundays and Mondays. TBE will be open from Tuesdays to Saturdays for all water-based activities and bicycle rentals. Tram tours will operate one-to-two times per week on a mix of Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays. Reservations are recommended for all guided tours, pontoon rentals, and fishing charters.
TBE is the concession to the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge. It operates in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, providing all rental and eco-tour opportunities, and a percentage of all sales benefit National Wildlife Refuges throughout the country.
