Water Main Break at Post Office on Tarpon Bay

A water main break was discoverd around noon Monday in front of the Post Office on Tarpon Bay Road.

Repair crews were on the scene throughout the Labor Day afternoon locating and repairing the break.

The road was closed betwen Periwinkle and Library Way.

Businesson on Tarpon Bay Road were without water.

Island Water Association completed the repair and water service was restored along Tarpon Bay.  The roadway was reopened early Tuesday morning.
