The total number of COVID-19 cases is 68 on Sanibel since March, according to Florida’s Data and Surveillance Dashboard on Wednesday, Nov. 11. That is up by three since Saturday, Nov. 7. Sanibel Mayor Kevin Ruane has extended the declared state of local emergency through Nov. 17, which includes the city’s mandate on face coverings while indoors at public places.
