Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation’s signature event, Wines in the Wild, presented by Bank of the Islands, has been rescheduled from Friday, Nov. 8 to Friday, Jan. 10, 2025. It will still be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Bailey Homestead Preserve.
“We want to give our community ample time to recover from Hurricanes Helene and Milton and allow our venue to dry out fully,” said event co-founder Linda Uhler. “We look forward to welcoming our SCCF family, friends, and neighbors into the new year instead.”
While Wines in the Wild started as a fundraiser in 2008 for the environmental organization, it was also designed to be a fun welcome-back gathering to kick off the island’s fall season.
Guests enjoy specially selected wines and food pairings prepared by some of the island’s favorite chefs as they meander the outdoor pathways under the night sky on the Bailey Homestead grounds.
General admission tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for this event. Anyone interested in a sponsorship should contact Cheryl Giattini at cgiattini@sccf.org or 239-822-6121.
