From soil to glass\, The Calling wines could only come from one place\, Sonoma. \nBailey’s General Store will be hosting The Calling Wine Tasting on July 21\, Thursday at 6:00 pm at the Captiva Civic Association\, 11550 Chaplin Lane. Join our guest speakers Pablo Pelaez\, Sales Manager South Florida & Eric Narvaez\, District Manager of Brittany Sales Company\, for a 7-series The Calling Wine Tasting\, showcasing the best of Sonoma.\nTheir passion for Sonoma and the family growers are what drives The Calling. Their dedication to the craft of winemaking defines them. The joy that results as The Calling wine is shared among friends\, enjoyed over a festive meal\, or toasted to celebrate is what motivates them. \nPablo and Eric will be joining Bailey’s Wine Steward\, Calli Johnson\, to present this spectacular line-up: 2019 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay\, 2019 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay\, 2016 Sullivan Vineyard Chardonnay\, 2019 Russian River Pinot Noir\, 2019 Fox Den Vineyard Pinot Noir\, 2018 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon\, 2018 ‘Our Tribute’ Cabernet Sauvignon \nPablo Pelaez\, Sales Manager South Florida\, Brittany Sales Company career spans over 30 years in the Food & Beverage industry. It began in Miami working in restaurants while attending college at Florida International University. Pablo has held various Sales & Marketing positions at Miller Brewing\, Seagram Americas\, and Osborne. Pablo is a big sports fan and avid golfer who has a deep appreciation for food\, fine wine\, fine music\, film\, and theatre. \nEric Narvaez\, District Manager\, Brittany Sales Company is currently in his tenth year in the wine & spirits industry. During this time\, Eric has acquired several wine & spirits certifications including Level 1 Intro to Sommelier\, WSET Level 2 wine & WSET Level 2 Sprits. Eric lives in Miami and his hobbies include poker\, golf\, and rooting for the Miami Dolphins. \nTheir winemaker\, James MacPhail pursued his dream to become a winemaker in the mid-1990s\, mentored by some of Sonoma Country’s most respected winemakers and growers. Through this experience\, he honed his craft focusing on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced from the Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley. \n“I like the fact that their winemaker prefers to let the grapes speak for themselves. James’s mandate is to work with the best fruit the region can offer and treat it honorably\, with classic\, exacting winemaking\,” says Calli Johnson of Bailey’s General Store. \nThose wishing to experience the spirit of Sonoma\, and The Calling wines should purchase a seat before July 14 through the following purchase page on Bailey’s website.
