Citations Issued in Separate Incidents

Jessica Baker, 33, Cape Coral, was traveling south on Causeway Boulevard at 12:47 p.m. Saturday, June 22, when she stopped at the intersection with Periwinkle Way and the back of her vehicle was struck by a vehicle operated by Kyle Walker, 17, Sanibel. Walker’s passenger, Cohen Baker, reported neck pain from his seatbelt. Lee County EMS responded and cleared Baker at the scene. Walker was issued a verbal warning for an expired registration and a citation for careless driving.

Julia Skinner, 46, Fort Myers, was stopped at the intersection of Sanibel Captiva Road and Tarpon Bay Road at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, when the back of her vehicle was struck by a vehicle operated by Patricia Genzardi, 58, New City, N.Y. Genzardi was issued a citation for following too closely.

Two vehicles collided Thursday, June 27, in the parking lot of George & Wendy’s restaurant, 2499 Periwinkle Way. Lisa Grazier, 24, Fort Myers, was backing her vehicle out of a parking space when the back of her vehicle struck the front of a vehicle operated by Lorie Crawford, 48, Gray, Tenn.
