The Charitable Foundation of the Islands is thrilled to announce that Bank of the Islands has been named the inaugural Presenting Sponsor of its 2025 Impact Report.

The sponsorship underscores the Bank’s longstanding commitment to strengthening the nonprofit and philanthropic ecosystem across Sanibel and Captiva. The 2025 Impact Report will highlight CFI’s grantmaking, donor-advised funds, scholarship initiatives, and community leadership efforts throughout the past year.

“Community foundations like CFI play a vital role in connecting generosity with impact,” said Robbie Roepstorff, President of Bank of the Islands. “We are proud to support CFI’s 2025 Impact Report and help share the powerful stories of donors, volunteers, and nonprofit partners who are working every day to strengthen our island community. Transparency and accountability matter — and celebrating impact inspires even greater generosity.”

The report will be unveiled this spring and distributed to 3,000 donors, fundholders, nonprofit partners, and community stakeholders, offering a comprehensive look at how philanthropic dollars are being stewarded and invested locally. The report will also be available for download online.

Geoff Roepstorff, Bank of the Islands CEO, added, “The Charitable Foundation of the Islands serves as an essential connector in our community — bringing together donors, nonprofits, and civic leaders to address evolving needs. We are honored to support this report and the broader mission of building a resilient and vibrant future for Sanibel and Captiva.”

CFI Board Chair Lisa Riordan expressed gratitude for the partnership. “Bank of the Islands understands that strong communities are built through partnership and shared responsibility. We are grateful for their leadership and continued investment in our community, not just CFI, but of all our nonprofits.”

CFI’s 2025 Impact Report will detail grants awarded, funds under management, and initiatives launched to address the evolving needs of the islands. The publication will also recognize the donors, volunteers, and partners who make this work possible.
