Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff is pleased to recognize the bank’s returning role as a FISH partner in collecting for the back-to-school needs of our young neighbors.
Beyond lending its Sanibel office as an official back-to-school drive drop-off site, Bank of the Islands also made in-kind donations to the cause.
“For many years, we have been honored to keep a large food donation chest in our Sanibel lobby year-round to benefit FISH,” said Roepstorff.
“During this summer, though, we were also happy to design a ‘school bus’ table for drop-offs. Your neighborly donations were augmented with our Bank of the Islands contributions of backpacks, pencils, glue sticks, glue bottles, calculators, folders, note pads, paper, scissors, highlighters, and more items to help local families with their budgets. The cost of these essential student items can add up in island households,” she said.
