With a very short turnaround time, Bank of the Islands CEO Geoff Roepstorff encourages customers and fellow islanders to drop unwrapped new toys at the Bank’s Sanibel office by Friday, Dec. 7. The Bank is partnering with Landgraphics of Sanibel-Captiva, which is spearheading this effort.

The toy drive will benefit foster children through the Children’s Network of Southwest Florida.

“Through their Landgraphics business, the Blackburn family is known for their caring commitment to their landscaping and tree service clients and their community,” said Roepstorff. “It’s our pleasure to provide a drop-off location for donated toys. Our Bank will be filling the lobby box with new toys, and we hope we can also count on our neighbors to contribute. No child should wake up on Christmas morning without a toy they can call their own.”

The deadline to donate is Friday, Dec. 7, to leave time for wrapping and distribution. To learn more, contact Lauren Blackburn of Landgraphics at 239-980-3409.

Bank customers and all islanders will be welcomed with freshly baked cookies, coffee, and ice water when they bring their donations to the bank at 1699 Periwinkle Way at the corner of Casa Ybel Road on Sanibel.
