Bank of the Islands Unveils Redesign; Returns to Full Operating Hours

Bank of the Islands completes the post-Ian redesign of its Sanibel office.

Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff is pleased to announce the completion of the post-Hurricane Ian redesign of its Sanibel office and resumption of its pre-storm operating hours.

“We are eager to welcome our customers and island neighbors for a look at our new lobby and meeting rooms,” said Roepstorff. “We hope everyone will agree our Sanibel location is looking better than ever!”

With the final phase of the Sanibel office interior design completed, the bank will resume full operating hours, including night drops, starting Monday, Dec. 4.

The Sanibel office lobby will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. The Sanibel Drive-Up Teller will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays.

The Captiva office lobby will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Friday, reopening for afternoon service from 1 to 3 p.m.

All are invited to stop in to see the new interior design and enjoy a freshly baked cookie, coffee, and bottled water.

Bank of the Islands is located at 1699 Periwinkle Way, at the corner of Casa Ybel Road, on Sanibel. The Captiva office is at 14812 Captiva Drive, next to the Captiva Post Office.
