BIG ARTS is inviting artists to submit their artwork for its first-ever juried exhibition in the new Dunham Family Gallery. The show “Create, Inspire, Connect” mirrors BIG ARTS 2021 Season theme to celebrate the vital role the arts play in reflecting our shared humanity and the healing power of community and creativity.

The juried show, scheduled for October 2020, is an open-theme exhibition for artists working in painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, fiber, printmaking, etc. Artwork in this exhibition will be judged according to presentation, artistic merit, originality and its interpretation of the theme of the BIG ARTS season and exhibit. Works submitted will be juried and awarded by the members of BIG ARTS Visual Arts Committee: Diane Olsson, Deborah Butler, Bunny Ospa, Bea Pappas, Kathy Taylor, Annie Wainwright, Peter Zell and BIG ARTS Programs and Gallery Manager Lauren Huff.

Artwork for the show can be submitted digitally by Sept. 6 through the BIG ARTS website. The fee to submit is $25 for members, $30 for non-members and $15 for students. All artists will all be notified by email by Sept. 11. To view the full prospectus, visit the Fine Arts section of the BIG ARTS website.
