FORT MYERS BEACH , Fla. – Bonita Fish Company has expanded its brunch menu, introducing mimosas by the bottle and three new entrees that put fresh twists on breakfast favorites. The waterfront Fort Myers Beach restaurant serves brunch Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We’re taking brunch to the next level by giving menu favorites a playful breakfast spin,” said Joe Harrity, a partner with HM Restaurant Group which manages Bonita Fish Company. “Our chefs highlight unique flavor profiles such as chimichurri steak and eggs and hot-honey chicken with sausage gravy and biscuits.”

The new brunch entrees include:
• Potato hash bowl: Seasoned potatoes, onions and peppers with white cheddar cheese and andouille sausage topped with two eggs and a cilantro-lime sauce.
• Fried chicken biscuits and gravy: Crispy hot-honey chicken with homemade sausage gravy.
• Steak and eggs: Chimichurri aioli-topped steak with breakfast potatoes and two eggs.

The dishes complement menu mainstays, including eggs benedict, the restaurant’s signature shrimp and grits, a brisket egg sandwich and a pancake stack.

Bonita Fish Company also offers brunch specials, including a new mimosa bottle and a mimosa flight featuring fresh-squeezed orange, pomegranate and grapefruit juices. Guests can round out brunch with breakfast sides, locally roasted coffee and house-made cinnamon rolls.

Overlooking Matanzas Pass and the 30-slip deep-water Marina at Bonita Fish Company, the restaurant is located in a century-old building with a history as a fish house and community gathering place. Honoring Fort Myers Beach’s heritage and fishing industry, Bonita Fish Company features a large center bar, daily music and a menu focusing on fresh seafood. It is also home to Bayside Private Events at Bonita Fish Company, one of a select few standalone waterfront event spaces in Lee County. The marina accommodates long-term rentals and boat-in customers.

Situated on Fishermen’s Wharf in Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Fish Company is part of HM Restaurant Group’s vision of revitalizing a block-long section of the wharf into a destination for dining, entertainment, waterfront and marina access. The company also manages neighboring Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille and Dixie Fish Company.

Philanthropy and community outreach are engrained in HM Restaurant Group’s company philosophy. Proceeds from specialty cocktails at its restaurants raise money for children’s hospitals and water quality issues. HM Restaurant Group and its employees also support local nonprofits dedicated to conservation, community, education and the environment. The “Ding” Darling Doc Ford’s Tarpon Tournament, founded in 2012, has donated over $2 million for conservation and water-quality research at Sanibel’s J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge. The 15th annual tournament is May 14, 2027.
