The Charitable Foundation of the Islands is pleased to announce its 2026 Generosity Breakfast, taking place on Monday, Nov. 16, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island.
Held in conjunction with National Philanthropy Day, the annual Generosity Breakfast celebrates the spirit of giving that makes Sanibel and Captiva such extraordinary communities. This year’s theme, Belonging, will explore how generosity of time, talent, and treasure strengthens our islands and creates a lasting sense of community.
The breakfast will feature keynote speaker Lynne Wester, Founder and Principal of the Donor Relations Group and one of the nation’s leading experts in philanthropy and donor engagement.
Guests will also celebrate the recipients of the Generosity Champion Awards, hear inspiring stories from organizations supported through the Community Impact Fund, and learn how last year’s grant recipients transformed community investments into meaningful local impact.
The program will also unveil the 2027 Community Impact Fund priorities, highlighting the initiatives that will guide the Foundation’s grantmaking in the coming year. Attendees will have the opportunity to support the Community Impact Fund and invest in projects that strengthen the future of Sanibel and Captiva.
