The team at Community Housing and Resources is dedicated to the resiliency of residents and community businesses. The CHR Board is providing an opportunity for its residents and supports the needs of the local business community with the option to obtain a second job on Sanibel or at a Sanibel-based business.
The board has modified the CHR rental agreement to not incur an increase in rent from the income resulting from the second job. This allows residents to grow their financial stability and support economic recovery for the businesses on the Island.
Businesses in the community are invited to send job opportunities to CHR so they can be passed on to residents.
Note: In order to qualify for housing CHR residents will need to maintain a full-time position on Sanibel or at a Sanibel-based business, unless otherwise stated in the residents lease.
