City Remembers Sanibel Police Sergeant Neri

City Council proclaimed May 6 as Sergeant Anthony Neri Memorial Day in honor of his seven years service with the Sanibel Police Department at Tuesday’s council meeting.

Sergeant Neri was remembered for his bravery, dedication and loyalty to his family, friends, fellow officers and the Sanibel Community. He passed away during a training exercise while on duty on May 6, 2019.
