Congress Jewelers has donated a Seaholm Watch, valued at $1,995 as a raffle prize benefiting the Sanibel Captiva Rotary Club and become a Host sponsor ($10,000) to help with the return of the arts and crafts fair, scheduled for Feb. 19-20, a major fundraiser that raises money donated locally and around the world.
“Melissa and I are happy to be host sponsors for the arts and crafts fair following the 2021 COVID cancellation,” said Scot Congress. “Despite last year’s limited ability to raise funds, San-Cap Rotary helped FISH provide assistance during the pandemic, funded local scholarships, helped provide oxygen generators to Peru, polio vaccinations in India, hurricane relief in Guatemala and clean water in Hawaii.”
Congress said he and his wife Melissa want to help the club do more next year. “Therefore, we partnered with the Seaholm Watch Co. to offer an incredible ‘Seaworthy’ Seaholm as a raffle item to aid this year’s fundraising.”
Tickets are a donation to Rotary at $10 each or 6 for $50 with only 1,000 to be sold. SEAHOLM® AUTOMATIC WATCHES is a fine Swiss time piece with an Island look of ruggedness to go with it. The watch is packaged with two watch bands for two different sporty looks, and a handsome Seaholm compass. The timepiece is water resistant to a depth of 300 feet, made of hardened stainless steel, and has a scratch-proof synthetic sapphire crystal for protection.
The watch is on display at Congress Jewelers, 2075 Periwinkle Way. The club challenges the community and local merchants to help the Rotary Club help others by becoming a sponsor, donate to the arts and crafts festival silent auction, buy tickets for the raffl, buy golf balls for the helicopter ball drop or just participate in these events.
