CROW Sets Volunteer Training for June 5

Volunteers are at the heart of every rescue, recovery, and release at the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife. The wildlife hospital and education nonprofit is holding its next volunteer orientation from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, June 5.

Volunteers assist with a wide range of tasks, including wildlife rescues, transporting injured animals, answering phones as first responders, cleaning rehabilitation enclosures, feeding patients in a baby room, doing laundry, and even helping with animal releases. They also contribute to our gift shop, educational programs, general maintenance, and special events. Volunteers must be 18 or older.

Orientation is mandatory for all volunteers and includes an overview of CROW, volunteer roles, and a tour of the Wildlife Hospital. CROW is at 3883 Sanibel Captiva Road on Sanibel Island. Register here for the volunteer training or call Pam at 239-472-3644 ext. 229.
