The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) welcomes Jarrett Larraga as a Wildlife Rehabilitator.
Jarrett, originally from San Diego, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lewis & Clark College and has built an impressive background in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation. His experience includes work with organizations in Oregon, Maine, and Costa Rica, where he ran an enrichment program and collected data using ethogram-based behavioral surveys of rehabilitated primates and parrots.
A self-described “bird nerd,” Jarrett is excited to work with Florida’s native and migratory wildlife and continue helping injured and orphaned animals return to the wild.
Founded in 1968, CROW is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the sick, injured, and orphaned native and migratory wildlife of Florida. Through veterinary care, educational programs, and a visitor center, CROW strives to improve the health of wildlife and the environment.
