provided to The Santiva Chronicle

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Electric vehicles are surely the way of the future. Celebrate Earth Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 22 at the Tribby Arts Center at Shell Point, 13921 Shell Point Blvd. Talk to owners of EVs, plug-in hybrids and electric bikes and take one for a test ride. Andrew DeCostole and colleagues from their Naples showroom will give a fascinating presentation at 10 a.m. about the Tesla company, its history and its vision. Masks are encouraged indoors.

Find out about all the important work being done to protect our precious but precarious planet by many local environmental groups and buy some tasty and healthy plant-based food for lunch.
