FISH of SanCap invites the community to its annual Thanksgiving celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way. Jerry’s Foods, a longtime FISH partner, will prepare the complimentary Thanksgiving meal.

“Community Thanksgiving is one of those gatherings that reminds us why we love living and working on these islands,” said Maria Espinoza, FISH Executive Director. “People come together from all walks of life, share a meal and enjoy each other’s company. There is something special about seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones around the table.”

Volunteers will help with everything from preparing for the event to serving meals and welcoming neighbors. Additional community partners may join the celebration and will be recognized through FISH’s social media channels as details are confirmed.
