Gourmet To-Go Meals Offered by Community House

The Sanibel Community House will hold a benefit for the Culinary Education Center of Sanibel by offering gourmet to-go meals prepared by Chef Jarred for those who don’t want to cook, but are staying home to help curtail the spread of COVID-19. From March 25 to April 29, meals can be picked up “curbside” between 1 and 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.

Chef Jarred will be serving gluten-free boneless beef short ribs, Caribbean-style curried chicken, bison and black bean chili, and asparagus soup, as well as polenta cakes with wild mushroom ragout for a vegetarian option. Meals include vegetable sides and a list of ingredients can be made available. As many of each kind of meal as desired can be ordered, while supplies last.

To place an order, call the Community house at 239-472-2155 or send an email to office@sanibelcommunityhouse.net. Ordering must be done by the Monday prior to pick up date.
