The Sanibel Community House will hold a benefit for the Culinary Education Center of Sanibel by offering gourmet to-go meals prepared by Chef Jarred for those who don’t want to cook, but are staying home to help curtail the spread of COVID-19. From March 25 to April 29, meals can be picked up “curbside” between 1 and 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.
Chef Jarred will be serving gluten-free boneless beef short ribs, Caribbean-style curried chicken, bison and black bean chili, and asparagus soup, as well as polenta cakes with wild mushroom ragout for a vegetarian option. Meals include vegetable sides and a list of ingredients can be made available. As many of each kind of meal as desired can be ordered, while supplies last.
