The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation announced Grampy’s Charities will be returning as Presenting Sponsor of the 29th Annual Tennis Tournament Nov. 13 and 14 at Beachview Tennis Club, 1101 Par View Dr.

“We are delighted and grateful that Grampy’s Charities and the castles have chosen to support the tournament so generously again this year,” said Tournament Chair Lisa Newmyer-Cochrane. “I am also thankful for the partnership of Toni Halski at Beachview Tennis Club. His addition of mixed doubles into the tournament this year will be a real hit with the players.”

Grampy’s Charities’ mission is to raise funds and support for children’s organizations, with the hope that by partnering with comfort and research-based charities, they will be able to make a difference in the lives of kids who need it most. In practice, they look for small charities to fund, where the money can be more transformative.

An all-volunteer organization, Grampy’s has partnered with Robbie’s Riders, Save the Kids and the Sanibel-Captiva Community Bank to provide 50 special adaptive tricycles for children with autism and cerebral palsy. They have also pledged to raise $500,000 in support of the Ronald McDonald House Mobile Medical Units serving children who have limited access to dental and medical services in Southwest Florida.

Tennis Tournament categories are 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles. Winners and Runners-up will receive Luc Century etched wine glasses. All players will receive tournament t-shirts and breakfast and lunch on both days.

The entry fee is $75 per day or $125 for both days of play. The registration deadline for player entry is Wednesday, Nov. 10. The registration form can be downloaded here. For more information, call Toni Halski at Beachview Tennis at 239-472-9099.
