Restaurant Applies For Expansion, Bonus Outdoor Seating
Cip’s Place, in the Forever Green Shopping Center on Periwinkle Way, applied for a conditional use permit to expand into the next-door unit, adding 44 indoor seats and 21 bonus outdoor seats. Sanibel Planning Commissioners unanimously granted a continuance for up to six months at the request of the property owner.

PMC Local Register Application
Sanibel Planning Commissioners will hear the application to add the Priscilla Murphy Center to the local register in their next meeting on Tuesday, June 28 at City Hall, 800 Dunlop Rd. The Historical Preservation Committee recommended the nomination earlier this month.

Priscilla Murphy was among the first Realtors on the island and the yellow building served as her home and office. Today, it serves as the office of John R. Wood Real Estate. Sanibel Captiva Community Bank recently purchased the building and is remodeling a portion of it to be a new second branch.

Restaurant Approved For Entertainment License
The new Tutti Pazzi, which took over the space occupied by Matzaluna, was unanimously granted an entertainment license this month by the Sanibel City Council. The restaurant can have live indoor entertainment from 5 to 9 p.m. up to six days per week.
