The Watch Party, a fundraising event supporting the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s community-based marine conservation and volunteer program Coastal Watch, is now sold out.
SCCF is thrilled to have many supporting partners for The Watch Party, including longtime SCCF supporters Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille and the Island Inn, which were named Watch Sponsors.
“Doc Ford’s and the Island Inn are no strangers to our conservation efforts. Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille has long supported SCCF’s mission-driven work. This summer, the Island Inn enlisted its guests to collect and grow mangrove propagules that will be planted at SCCF Coastal Watch restoration sites,” said James Evans, CEO of SCCF. “We’re proud to continue our strong relationship with these conservation-minded businesses.”

Five additional local businesses and community members were named Watch Sponsors of The Watch Party, including South Seas Resort, Bailey’s General Store, Superior Title Services of Sanibel, the Gaudreau Family, and Pete and Kriss Squibb.
You don’t have to attend The Watch Party to support marine conservation! You can still purchase tickets for a chance to win the 50/50, including a very special drawing for a custom piece of mangrove-inspired jewelry designed and donated by Congress Jewelers. Enter the drawing by clicking “Tickets” at coastalwatchparty.eventbrite.com.
The event will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at SCCF’s Sanibel Sea School and will feature live music from Uproot Hootenanny, a shrimp boil, other good eats, craft beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, a casting competition, 50/50, and more fun ways to give.
