Jean Ann Heuer passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving morning at her home in Santa Rosa, California, at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Arthur John Heuer. She is survived by her four daughters Judy/Phoebe (David), Sally (Steve), Janice (Andy) and Molly (Charlie); five grandchildren Glynis, Logan, Luke, Blake and Silas; and two great-grandchildren Bennett and Theodore.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Jean married and raised her family in Roseville, Minnesota. She later earned a master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas, and taught special education until her retirement. Our “adventure Mom” enjoyed a long life full of love, curiosity and grace, with an active mind and body.
A resident of Sanibel, Florida, she divided her time between Florida, Minnesota, and California. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Jean had a generous spirit and would be pleased if family and friends would like to make a donation in her name to a favorite charity.
Aunt Jean will be missed! What a fantastic lady!
